EXAMPLES OF WORK
RiseUp Archive
Part of the founding group of women who put together this innovative online archive of Canadian women’s history. I not only built and designed the website, but I built the interface and technology that allows the group to maintain an archive with thousands of documents. I also advised the organization on everything from using meta-data in archives, to web hosting, mailing lists, online fundraising, and much more.
Signable Vi5ion
This wonderful ASL teacher, consultant and artist needed a website that combined all aspects of her business in an easy to use and updateable format. We created an informative site where clients could book appointments, buy DIY classes or sign up for group zoom courses, and purchase physical products.
Plan Insurance
Plan reached out to me looking for someone who could take a WordPress site, created with a drag-and-drop framework (that shall remain nameless), and convert it into a custom WordPress template with custom Gutenberg blocks. Plan also needed their complex and lengthy set of insurance quote forms to be converted into a set of straightforward PHP/Javascript/HTML files that could be integrated with their web services applications. I worked remotely with an ever-changing team of back-end developers and marketing people during the pandemic to complete this project.
